Definition: Special instruction provided for students with educational or physical disabilities, tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. (As defined by the SIF Association.)

What This Means: SIF objects cover the data required to submit to the USED on student participation in Special Education as well as other data required in the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The three objects are Student Participation, Student Placement, and Test Accommodations.
